This policy explains how Handover Consulting Ltd ("The Handover", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website and funnel pages, sign up for our free training, book a call, or work with us as a client. We are committed to handling your information fairly and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Handover Consulting Ltd is the data controller for your personal data. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17471177), with our registered office in Salisbury, England.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We keep notes from coaching sessions to track your progress. With your agreement, we may also use transcription and note-taking tools to produce session summaries. We will always tell you before a session is recorded or transcribed, and you can decline without affecting your coaching.
Our pages use cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the pages to work. Others, such as the Meta Pixel, help us understand how people use our pages and measure how well our advertising performs. Where the law requires it, we only use non-essential cookies with your consent.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and you can control how Meta uses your information for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for the purposes above:

Our student services may involve young people under 18. We only collect a student's information with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who arranges the booking and agrees to our terms. Our advertising is aimed at adults. If you believe a child has given us personal data without a parent's or guardian's involvement, please contact us and we will delete it.
We use reputable service providers and take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if a problem arises.
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
